A&B NI’s arts remit covers the performing arts, literature, visual arts and crafts, museums, libraries, heritage and film. We facilitate creative partnerships between business and the arts through research, training and the promotion of culture. With 25 years of experience driving dynamic collaborations in Northern Ireland, we have extensive expertise in the interface between the arts and business.

Corporate Art Collections have been around since the 1950’s, pioneered by David Rockefeller at the Manhattan Chase Bank and with the Deutsche Bank hot on his heels and now owning the world’s largest corporate art collection. The Culture & Business Fund Scotland enables businesses and arts or heritage organisations to come together and build effective, sustainable partnerships, bringing creative projects – large and small – vividly to life. Acquire a sense of the distinctive social and cultural importance of the contemporary arts through an intellectually stimulating and satisfying experience of learning and studying. Josie Cockram, Lecturer in Contemporary Art and Curation, leads professional practice lectures, seminars and workshops. This strand of the course equips students with the practical production skills they need to make contemporary art happen, and to engage audiences across all our communities. During this time he has curated more than 100 exhibitions, placing a particular emphasis upon experimental emerging practice and context-led projects. Since 2013, after eight years as Director of Arnolfini, in Bristol, he has focused on curating international biennials and large-scale visual arts projects, working in India, Korea, Denmark, Japan, UAE and the UK.
